Project Karuna*

According to UNICEF, 230,000 children under the age of 15 died in 2011 due to HIV/AIDS. Millions more are still suffering with this global epidemic. Currently 34 million people around the world live with HIV, hundreds of thousands in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.

INK Foundation’s Project Karuna has initiated programs to provide care for children and young adults affected by HIV/AIDS. With compassion, we reach those children meeting their physical, emotional, spiritual, and medical needs. We help in preventing infection, providing medical treatment, extending support programs, and empowering through education.

*The word "Karuna" is derived from Sanskrit for "Compassion."
